Daniel Klass
Daniel Klass is the Founder and Managing Partner of Klass Capital, a private equity firm that invests in enterprise software businesses. Mr. Klass, along with affiliated entities, partners and co-investors, has completed over 20 software investments and he was also one of the early investors in Freshii Inc. (TSX:FRII) and Docebo (NASDAQ:DCBO; TSX:DCBO). He currently sits on the board of Rightsline (Chair), 360insights, Optimy, Wonderflow and Method. Prior to founding Klass Capital, Mr. Klass was a private equity investor with TD Bank and Edgestone. Mr. Klass holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Mathematics from the University of Western Ontario.
Will Anderson
Will Anderson is a Managing Partner at Klass Capital. Will has spent his entire career scaling software companies. Will initially joined the Klass team in 2013 as a CEO In-Residence. He went on to acquire and operate Resolver, a leading SaaS risk management platform, as its CEO, and scaled it to a successful exit in 2022. Previously, Will ran large divisions of MicroPact (Iron Data) and Constellation Software. Will enjoys spending his time advising and coaching founders on strategy, go-to-market and product vision. Will holds a bachelor of commerce degree from Queen’s University.
Kevin Climans
Kevin joined Klass Capital in 2013. His key responsibilities include sourcing deals, performing in-depth industry research and monitoring portfolio companies. Kevin earned his Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Emma Johnson
Emma joined Klass Capital in 2021. Emma’s key responsibilities include sourcing deals, creating detailed financial models and performing in-depth industry research. Prior to joining Klass, Emma spent a summer in the Corporate Strategy and M&A team at Bell Canada. Emma was also a member of Western University’s Women’s Basketball Team. Emma holds an Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario (with Distinction).
Emma Couture
Emma joined Klass Capital in 2023. Emma's key responsibilities include sourcing deals, creating detailed financial models and performing in-depth industry research. Prior to joining Klass, Emma worked as a consultant for IBM in Toronto, focusing on the financial services and payments industries. Emma holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University (with Honours).
Jared Tessis
Jared joined Klass Capital in 2013 as the Director of Talent. Currently, as Head of Talent, Jared and his team of Talent Specialists work closely with the firm’s portfolio companies on recruitment initiatives and talent scaling strategy. Jared is an advisor on all talent acquisition activities, including compensation matters, sourcing top talent and building the talent pipeline for the portfolio. Jared and his team support the portfolio’s companies by leveraging a deep talent pipeline helping our companies to scale quickly and build top notch teams. Jared spends a lot of time sourcing and engaging the top software talent and connecting them directly to our portfolio companies. Prior to joining Klass, Jared worked at a boutique search agency and in-house on the recruitment team at one of the world’s largest professional services firms. Jared has over 10 years of talent and business advisory experience which enables him to guide our companies’ executives and coach them through the entire hiring process. Jared earned his Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA CA).
Jennifer Erdelyi
Jennifer joined Klass Capital in 2015. She works closely with the portfolio companies on a variety of recruitment initiatives including sourcing top talent for their teams. Prior to joining Klass, Jennifer had over 4 years of experience in fast-paced recruitment as a Resource Manager at Randstad Canada and as a Human Resources Coordinator at BDO Canada LLP. Jennifer earned her B.A. from the University of Western Ontario and her Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from Sheridan College. She is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).
Michael Hussar
Michael joined Klass Capital in 2023. His responsibilities include sourcing talent for our portfolio companies, providing analysis on the recruitment market, and building talent pipelines. Prior to joining Klass, Michael worked in a mix of agency recruitment and in-house talent acquisition roles for high growth organizations; Randstad Canada, Exchange Solutions, and Top Hat Inc. Michael has been working in technology focused talent acquisition for 9 years. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management and Organizational Studies (with a specialization in Human Resources) from the University of Western Ontario.
Adeola Omole
Adeola joined Klass Capital in 2024. He is responsible for financial and accounting matters relating to Klass Capital's corporate entities, partnerships, fund reporting and the Family Office. Prior to joining Klass, Adeola was a Manager in Audit & Assurance at Deloitte LLP, servicing clients in the real estate and financial services industries. Adeola holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) Degree, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce Honours (Accounting) Degree from North-West University in South Africa. Adeola holds his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
